18. Mexico
The Mexican Drug War is the catch-all term for a series of bloodbaths in South America. Mexican Security forces, backed by US Marshals and Colombian Police are locked in a never-ending war of attrition with the powerful Mexican drug cartels since late 2006. Two worlds collide in Mexico, and the force of the impact has snuffed out 5.984 people from the Mexican coalition side (including 1.000 children) and 12.456 cartel members.
