The “wasps’ nest” was roughly shaken in Ukraine, after Russia decided to invade and annex Crimea in 2014 and it doesn’t look like peace is coming to the area any day soon. Protests led to clashes, clashes led to skirmishes, and skirmishes led to full blown war between the Ukrainian government and the pro-Russian separatist forces, costing the lives of 4.102 separatist and 3.351 loyalist soldiers until now.
