The face probably one of the most important parts of the human body. Simply because it is the very first thing a person will look at especially when you’re talking to someone. It can be rather embarrassing if your face is not smooth and there are even some who just can’t be content of what their face actually look like that they have to undergo plastic surgery or even get your nose and lips done, which is completely understandable and there is literally nothing wrong with wanting to look and feel good about how you want your face to look like. But you don’t necessarily need to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars just to make your face look decent. Here is a couple of things you need to keep in mind to achieve that smooth and clean face you have always wanted.
-
WHAT TYPE OF SKIN DO YOU HAVE?
The very first thing you have to consider is the type of skin you have. You got to figure out if your face produces too much oil then it is obviously oily and if it is the opposite which is too dry then you have a dry skin type. But if it is in between and if you’re obviously not struggling with it being too oily or too dry then you have a normal skin type. If it has just the right balance of moisture on it. And having a normal skin type is what you’re trying to achieve so you need to know how to keep your skin clean and smooth the proper way.

USE A MILD FACE WASH 2x A Day
Washing your face with a mild face wash is definitely recommended because the skin on the face is more delicate than with any other part of the body. There are amazing mild facial wash products in the market that you can check out and you can read some of their reviews online to save you time. You may need to try out a few since you need to sort out which one would work best for you. It must cleanse away all the dirt and excess oil on your face but at the same time, it can’t be too harsh on your skin.
It is also very important to wash your face twice a day and if possible not more than that since, like I’ve mentioned above, the skin on the face is very delicate and washing your face too much might increase the chances of having wrinkles even if you’re still at a very young age. However, if you have been wearing makeup or been out the entire day, it is advisable to remove your make up and then clean your face with your facial wash because the chemicals in makeup are not really safe on our skin especially if it has been there for hours. And if you have large pores it is best to wash your face with cold water.

USE TONERS
This is highly recommended for those who have oily skin. If you have normal or dry skin then you don’t exactly need this, however, it really does help especially for the people with acne and clogged pores.
Because toners have the ability to remove the excess oils after cleansing your face and it brings back the antioxidants that are no longer present in your face. This is great for exfoliating acne-prone skin. However, according to a dermatologist, it is best to use toners that don’t contain any alcohol on it since it tends to dry the skin.

STOP TOUCHING YOUR FACE
The most important thing you can do to make sure your face stays clean is to not touch your face. It may be difficult but touching your face increases the dirt that is already on it. Our hands have a lot of bacteria on it even if we can’t see them, and when you touch your face, it will go into your pores and clog them.
Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before applying makeup and also make sure that all the makeup sponges and brushes you will be using are clean. It is also advisable not let your face touch anything like mobile phones because it also has a lot of bacteria present on it.
