Girl: Hey, I’m sorry but I have to something else to do. Raincheck?
Guy: Yeah, no worries. I’ll be in touch.

And she never heard from the guy again.

BIG MISTAKE!

Just because she can’t make it to your date doesn’t give you the right to assume that she’s ditching you. Persistence is the key here. This is how it should’ve been handled.

Girl: Hey, I’m sorry but I have to something else to do. Raincheck?
Guy: Yeah, no worries. Let’s just have coffee next Saturday.
Girl: That sounds great!
