Be Kind

Girls are sensitive, and it is this recognition of their sensitivity that will allow us to keep them interested in us. The simplest actions can echo as lasting impressions. If you spent your time on your phone while she was talking, then you will be “that guy who was on the phone all night”. Be sympathetic. Be kind. When she shares a sad story, don’t patronize her. Listen with intent and provide her with comfort.

“I’m sorry that you put your 12-year old dog to sleep. I can’t even imagine what that’s like. I’m sure he’s pretty happy wherever he is now and I think he’s happy that you gave him a good life.”

When you’re kind, she will appreciate you for that and she will repay it back with kindness.
