EKO Cobra, Austria
The Austrian EKO Cobra special tactical unit’s operations have been as discreet as they’ve been effective in the War on Terror, since the unit’s formation in 1978. EKO Cobra is the group that famously rescued the hostages of Graz-Karlau Prison in 1996, and the only special force to end an airplane hijacking mid-air.
