Mel Brooks, Born In 1926 – The Producers
One thing that has remained unchanged in the last seven decades is Mel Brooks’ comic timing and sense of humor. He started his career as an entertainer in ‘Your Show of Shows’ after the stint as a land-mine diffuser with the US Army ended. Subsequently, the star went on to forge a legacy of his own, both in front of the camera and behind it.
Brooks is well into his nineties now, but the energy he demonstrates is unmatched. The actor appeared in a 2019 Broadway play and will soon be lending his voice for the character of Shogun in ‘Blazing Samurai.’
