Few can claim a career quite as illustrious as American actor, Dick Van Dyke. For more than seven decades, he’s been bringing joy to audiences and has cemented himself as a firm favorite when it comes to comedic acting.
Although Dick is in his nineties, he doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all, and he is frequently seen out and about with his wife, Arlene Silver. His childhood dream was to be a minister, but we’re thankful that he chose entertainment as a way to send his message to the world!
Mel Brooks, Born In 1926 – The Producers
One thing that has remained unchanged in the last seven decades is Mel Brooks’ comic timing and sense of humor. He started his career as an entertainer in ‘Your Show of Shows’ after the stint as a land-mine diffuser with the US Army ended. Subsequently, the star went on to forge a legacy of his own, both in front of the camera and behind it.

Brooks is well into his nineties now, but the energy he demonstrates is unmatched. The actor appeared in a 2019 Broadway play and will soon be lending his voice for the character of Shogun in ‘Blazing Samurai.’
Bobby Sherman, Born in 1943 – Julie, Do Ya Love Me
Born in 1943, in California to parents named Robert Cabot Sherman Sr. and Juanita Sherman, Bobby Sherman is a former singer. He made his television debut through Shindig! on ABC before making an appearance in Here Come the Brides, a comedic series. Sherman went on to dominate the pop charts as a singer with the well-produced Little Woman and Julie, Do Ya Love Me.

Sherman had a fashionably shaggy hairstyle which remains unforgettable even today. In the 1970s, he gave up singing but kept working on television programs. Sherman, a licensed EMT, has also worked with the Los Angeles Police Department, instructing candidates for the police academy in first aid and CPR.
Richard Dean Anderson, Born in 1950- General Hospital
A well-known face in Hollywood is known for his work in the American soap opera General Hospital. The series gave widespread recognition to Richard Dean, which led him to the lead role in MacGyver. Eventually, Dean appeared in films including Firehouse, Through the Eyes of a Killer, and Pandora’s Clock, which is counted as his notable work.

Later from 1997- 2005, Dean starred in Stargate SG-1 and its consecutive parts. It was based on the movie Stargate and agreed to work on this project as Dean saw a valuable potential. Apart from being a great successful actor, he is known for his charity work, including as a Waterkeeper Alliance supporter.
Will Ferrell, Born in 1967 – Saturday Night Live
Will Ferrell is one of the most versatile and admired actors in Hollywood. With a successful career in both comedy and dramatic roles, Ferrell has entertained audiences for over two decades. His unique sense of humor and ability to bring a character to life makes him one of the most sought-after actors in the business.

Will is a beloved American icon who first rose to fame on the sketch comedy Saturday Night Live and has since starred in many popular films such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and Elf. For his performance as a comedic actor, Ferrell won the 2015 British GQ Men of the Year award for best comedian.
