It’s a man’s world, and this ad for Van Heusen ties takes it in a weird direction. In the ad, a smartly dressed man sat on his bed, but it doesn’t make sense because who would go about sleeping/ taking naps while sporting such formal attire? And then things go down from here.
A housewife on her knees is serving the man dutifully, placing an excellent breakfast in bed. Who doesn’t love to wake up with some bacon and eggs? But in this case, it’s not just how much you enjoy the meal but also what that says for society.
