It’s a sad truth that men have dominated the advertising world for far too long, but they were missing out on how to really sell. No doubt, they were great at bouncing off ideas from one another, but an advertisement depicting a Kenwood Chef food processor from 50 years ago shows exactly what women are meant for: cooking.
The ad is rough and dominant as well because it features only men doing work. Usually, every job is done by couples or families together; however, this time around, there’s no mention of partners enjoying some quality time off during cooking as we do now. Things have changed for the good now.
