Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone lost a valuable deal when she spoke without thinking in 2008. When asked about a terrible Sichuan earthquake in which many people had lost their lives, Stone indicated that the Chinese maybe deserved that and that it was karma. After that, one of the biggest China cinema chains declared they wouldn’t be showing her films anymore, and Christian Dior dropped all the advertisements featuring her image. The fashion house also apologized on her behalf to China, but Stone later denied making an apology. Obviously, she is still loaded despite losing this deal and has a net worth of $60 million.
