Bill Cosby – Navy

What is Bill Cosby best known for? The Cosby Show, of course! But before he could make anyone laugh, Bill joined the Navy as a hospital corpsman in 1956. He worked in the physical therapy department for severely injured Korean War soldiers. He served the country for four years and was even designated as an honorary chief petty officer at a Navy ceremony in 2011.
