Elvis Presley – Marines

The King of Rock and Roll was drafted into the United States Army in 1957, two years after he became famous for two of his hit songs. Elvis was stationed at Fort Hood before being sent off to Friedberg, Germany serving in the 1st Medium Tank Battalion. It was there where he met his future wife, Priscilla Beaulieu. He was honorably discharged after two years of service in 1960.
