George Carlin – Air Force
Before George Carlin became a stand-up comedian, he joined the U.S. Air Force to help pay for his education in a broadcasting school. He was a radar technician stationed in Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana. He never went onto the front-lines, but he supported the troops as much as he can.
