There was a Big Bang copycat show.

Perhaps because of the huge success of the show, it birthed a Belarusian version in Eastern Europe titled The Theorists in 2010. It became a local hit, as expected, and was a blatant copy of The Big Bang Theory with its title, story line, and even its cast of characters named Sheldon, Leo, Hovard, Raj. Chuck Lorre and CBS quickly took legal action against the show. Fortunately, it didn’t take long before the show stopped airing as the actors themselves refused to continue after finding out that the entire show was plagiarized.
