Close The Deal

So now you’ve got your eyes set on a woman, and she was the one who you spent hours within a small booth in a cafe outside your library. But time is your enemy. You want to stay the course, as Captain Picard would say. How does one do that?

“Oh my, I really have to go but I’d like to continue this conversation of ours over a cup of coffee. Would it be all right to get your number?”

It’s not assertive, but it does provide you with a sense of urgency that doesn’t border on desperation. By doing this, you’re automatically telling the girl that you’re interested in her and that if she replies positively, there’s something waiting at the very end of this course.
