Magic Johnson has retired, but there’s no way his fans forget his peak years anytime soon! The former basketball player, who also happens to be a former president of Los Angeles Lakers’ basketball operations, played for the team for a whopping 13 seasons. Over his time as a star athlete, he accumulated big money, adding up to $500 million to his name today.

Johnson was only 20 years old when he was named MVP for the NBA finals as just a rookie player at the time – he was thus the youngest to have earned the title. He is also a spokesperson and entrepreneur and is the co-owner of Los Angeles Dodgers. He is an activist as well and campaigns for those who have HIV/AIDS.
