Jan Hofer is known throughout Germany as a news anchor and television presenter. The 71-year-old was the spokesman for the Tagesschau from 1985 to 2020. The journalist has been employed as a news anchor at ARD for 35 years and everyone in Germany knows his face. Jan Hofer recently retired and will probably now dedicate himself to one of his greatest hobbies: vintage cars. He prefers old cars. For example, his Austin Healey is one of his favorite cars. The presenter now owns a Mercedes-Benz 220 S and a Volkswagen 1303 LS Cabriolet.
