Jo Brand is an English writer, actress and presenter. She was not always overweight, but started to gain weight in her 30s. The Getting-on actress used her weight as an asset and made it a part of her comedy stand-ups. Initially, Jo never thought her figure to be an issue but for better health, she aimed to lose weight and chose a healthier lifestyle.
However, she went on the journey of losing weight because of the risks attached to being morbidly obese. Long walks and running are a few of the things she did to shed excess pounds. In this long journey, Brand has successfully lost over seventy pounds till now.
