Cheryl Tiegs was one of the most well-known American models in the 1970s. She became a heartthrob because of her stunning looks and sizzling appeal. Tiegs debuted on the cover of Glamour at the age of 17 and later appeared on the covers of major magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Time.
The diva was also a regular in Sports Illustrated’s annual swimsuit edition, making headlines in 1978 when she donned a provocative fishnet bathing suit. The star later launched her signature clothing line and her sportswear brand. She also made a Hollywood debut in 1986 in ABC’s comedy-drama Moonlighting.
