Julia McKenzie has devoted several years to the industry. She has worked as an actress, singer, theatre director, and presenter. However, her most popular role to date is Hester Fields in the sitcom Fresh Fields and its sequel. In 2018, Julia was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for her services to drama.

Julia retired from the theatre to spend more time with her husband, Jerry Harte. However, that didn’t stop her from doing Pilates and remaining fit. Looking at her recent pictures, we can surely say that McKenzie looks younger and fitter than her peers.
