Pat Boone is a legendary singer, composer, actor, and advocate from the United States. During the 1950s and early 1960s, he was the most popular pop singer in America. He had 38 top 40 singles, including six number one records, and sold over 45 million albums. Boone also appeared in more than 15 Hollywood movies.
He debuted on Republic Records in 1954, followed by his Dot Records debut Two Hearts, Two Kisses a year later. With a cover of Ain’t That a Shame, he scored his first No. 1 hit and rose to notoriety. Boone maintained his Christian convictions throughout his career, stating that he would only star in moral, uplifting films.
