Bern Nadette Stanis is a famous American actress and author popularly known for her role as Thelma Evans on the CBS sitcom ‘Good Times.’ After the series ended, Stanis appeared on television shows including ‘The Cosby Show’ and ‘What’s Happening Now!!’ She has also been featured in promotions for the TV One network and in a Thelma promotion.

Stanis is the author of four bestsellers: ‘ Situations 101: Relationships’, ‘The Good, The Bad & The Ugly: For Men Only,’ ‘Situations 101: Finances’, and ‘The Last Night.’ In 2016, she appeared on an episode of ‘Centric’s Being’ discussing her life and career.

Perrette made her comeback in acting in April 2020 in the sitcom Broke. Despite having a positive experience, she opted to retire from acting altogether.
