Nell Campbell, Born in 1953 – The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Nell Campbell was, without a doubt, one of the most outrageous and colorful actresses of the 1970s. This Australian native got her start as an actress in the hit movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show and soon became known for her charming and over-the-top personality. Campbell was never afraid to stand out from the crowd, and she definitely made a name for herself in the entertainment world.

In addition to her acting career, Campbell also enjoyed a sensational music career. Her appearances might have become less frequent in the show business now, but Campbell will always be remembered as one of the most entertaining stars of her time.

Dick Van Dyke, Born in 1925 – Mary Poppins

Few can claim a career quite as illustrious as American actor, Dick Van Dyke. For more than seven decades, he’s been bringing joy to audiences and has cemented himself as a firm favorite when it comes to comedic acting.

Although Dick is in his nineties, he doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all, and he is frequently seen out and about with his wife, Arlene Silver. His childhood dream was to be a minister, but we’re thankful that he chose entertainment as a way to send his message to the world!

Julie Goodyear, Born in 1942 – Coronation Street

Julie Goodyear is a British actress who rose to prominence on Coronation Street as the brassy Rovers Return Inn barmaid-turned-landlady Bet Gilroy, née Lynch. She has made numerous television appearances, including roles in Nearest and Dearest and Hollyoaks episodes.

Julie received the MBE in 1996 and the Lifetime Achievement award in 1995 at the inaugural National Television Awards. Apart from Coronation Street, she has acted in pantomimes, advertisements. Her autobiography, ‘Just Julie’, was published in 2006 and became a best-seller. Furthermore, she was a contestant on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2012, and also participated in an episode of The Big Soap Quiz: Corrie vs. Emmerdale in 2018.

Kim Novak, Born in 1933- Vertigo

Marilyn Pauline Kim Novak, famous by name Kim Novak is a known actress from the mid-50s. She started her career in 1954 with notable works such as Picnic,& Pal Joey. However, her prominence rose with her performance in the thriller movie Vertigo, which was a box office hit. Kim worked in Liebestraum, which was a total disappointment, and she retired from the industry immediately.

Having no wish to return to acting, she has been honored with two Golden Globe Awards, the Honorary Golden Bear Award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This gorgeous actress works as a painter and visual artist after she retired from the industry.

Tina Lousie, Born in 1934- God’s Little Acre

Tina Lousie began her career on stage in the 50s before she started acting in films. She is best known for her role in the sitcom Gilligan’s Island. Although Tina got her breakthrough from God’s Little Acre, she took home a Golden Globe Award for a New Star of the Year.

Further, Tina has worked in other notable films The Trap, The Hangman, The Happy Ending, and The Stepford Wives. Tina became the last surviving cast member of Gilligan’s Island after the death of Dawn Wells. Apart from a career in acting, she was a well-known singer as well. Tina made one record album, It’s Time For Tina.
