Patricia Quinn, Born in 1944 – The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Patricia Quinn is one of the most well-known and respected actors in Ireland. She was born on May 28, 1944, near Belfast city center to Irish parents, James Connolly and mother, Rebecca. Pat went to Princess Gardens Grammar School, where she discovered her knack for acting at a young age.

She moved to London at the age of 17 after periods at Belfast’s Arts Theater and the British Drama League and began training at the Drama Center in 1969. The Rocky Horror Picture Show,  Doctor Who, and Bergerac are among her enviable list of significant performances. There is only one Quinn, with her distinct voice, unmistakable presence, and easy scene-stealing skill.
