Lou Ferrigno, Born in 1951 – The Incredible Hulk

The name Lou Ferrigno is connected with the superhero Hulk. He was diagnosed with permanent hearing loss as a baby. Lou was the brunt of jokes at school because of his impairment. However, by taking up weight training and bodybuilding, he overcame his disadvantage.

He landed on the TV series ‘The Incredible Hulk’ and had a breakthrough role. Until the eighties, Lou was affiliated with the Hulk character in various ways. Despite his retirement from professional bodybuilding, he continues to perform and appear on television shows. In addition, Ferrigno owns and operates a workout equipment business with which he spends the most of his time nowadays.
