Richard White, Born in 1947 – American Historian
Richard White earned a BA in history from UC Santa Cruz in 1969 and is currently regarded as one of the country’s foremost experts in three fields: American West history, Native American history, and environmental history. He is a dedicated teacher with many valuable insights on various subjects. Richard’s knowledge makes him an invaluable asset not only within academics but also all over.
He has written extensively on the history of the American West, and his work has been praised for its engaging style and exhaustive research. White has received numerous academic honors, and he has twice been a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Additionally, he also contributes to the American Antiquarian Society.
