Tom Cruise, Born in 1962 – Mission: Impossible

Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, professionally known as Tom Cruise, was born on July 3, 1962, in Syracuse, New York, United States. His clean-cut good looks and adaptability made him one of the favorite American actors who rose to fame in the 1980s as one of Hollywood’s finest beloved leading men.

He appeared in several critically acclaimed movies as a prominent Hollywood star in the 1990s, including the horror movie Interview with the Vampire,  the drama A Few Good Men, and the romantic comedy Jerry Maguire. Tom received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for the latter. However, it was his brilliant performance in  Mission: Impossible that gave him primary acceptance.
