Among the most successful singer-songwriters of his time, Harry Belafonte was given the title ‘King of Calypso’ for promoting Caribbean music and introducing it to a global audience. But interestingly, the man did not limit himself to just one genre! In fact, he has recorded albums in even gospel, folk, and blues in addition to ”American Standards.”

Also, Harry used his platform to always advocate for human rights and freedom of speech, since he said goodbye to music. He then began working on various movies and television. Could you think of a human being who is capable of so many things in a lifetime? We can’t!
Carlin Glynn, Born in 1940 – Sixteen Candles
Carlin Glynn is a retired singer and actress who has made a name for herself in the Hollywood industry. Even though she retired from acting a long time ago, her memorable performances in movies and broadway shows have stayed with her fans and admirers till now. Adding to it, Carlin’s short and curly hair with that magical smile and vintage face is unforgettable.

She was born in the year 1940 and was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Talking about her educational background, Glynn completed her studies at the Mirabeau B. Lamar High School in Houston, Texas. She garnered immense fame for her portrayal of “Molly” in the 1984 movie Sixteen Candles.
Barbara Eden, Born in 1931- Jeannie
Barbara Ede is a talented American actress, singer, and producer. She was best known for her role as Jeannie in the hit sitcom I Dream of Jeannie, which aired from 1965-1970 on N.B.C. After her role in this show ended, Eden continued to be a successful actress.

Later filming the pilot for Barbara Eden’s show, she went on to star in many T.V. movies that showed off both her comedic and dramatic skills. Additionally, Barbara most recently starred in My Adventures With Santa. This is a heartfelt and fun-filled adventure film that brings the magic of Christmas to the whole family. Besides, it debuted in November 2019.
