Marilu Henner, Born in 1952 – Between the Lines

Marilu Henner is an actress, radio personality, and novelist. She began dancing as a toddler and began teaching dance at her family’s Henner Dance School when she was a teenager. Marilu later pursued an acting career and began taking minor roles in theater and television productions.

She rose to notoriety after starring in the hit sitcom ‘Taxi’ and then in films such as ‘Johnny Dangerously,’ ‘The Man Who Loved Women,’ ‘LA. Story,’ and ‘Man on the Moon.’ In 1990, Henner returned to television with ‘Evening Shade.’ She is also a prolific author with numerous best-selling books in the health and fitness industries.
