Ron Willam Howard, aka Ron Howard, is an American film director, actor, and producer who began his career as a child in the entertainment industry. In the film American Graffiti, he is featured as the protagonist. Ron currently owns and rides his 1979 Volkswagen Bug.

It holds a special place in his heart since it reminds him of his first date with his wife, which he took out in the car. Ron bought the car when he was 16 years old, and it was his first car. He repurchased it years later after selling it, and it is the only car he claims to have ever loved.
