Make no mistake about it, Meredith Baxter may have semi-retired from acting, but she remains a force to be reckoned with in daytime TV! The actress became an overnight sensation and received multiple ‘Emmy’ nominations for her work with the world-renowned show, ‘Family,’ and has wowed audiences with incredible projects thereafter.

Baxter’s most recent work includes ‘Undateable John,’ where she played the role of Beatrice. For now, she enjoys doing her favorite hobbies alongside her wife, Nancy Locke. Life can’t get any better for Baxter for sure – we wish her nothing but the best!

Loni Anderson, Born in 1945- Cincinnati 

Loni Anderson is a prominent face of Hollywood who is best known for her work in Cincinnati. For which she took home three Golden Globe Awards. Her film debut had a minor role in Nevada Smith in 1966. Also Anderson was seen in the sitcom Phyllis.

Anderson received multiple awards for her work as a comedian in the T.V. movie White Hot: The Mysterious Murder of Thelma Todd. Anderson has been married four times and has two children. Loni’s parents were from World War II, who both smoked, and due to that, she witnessed the effects of C.O.P.D., a lung disease caused by smoking.

Steven Seagel, Born in 1952- Above the Law

Steven Seagal was born in Lansing, Michigan, now an actor, screenwriter, producer, and martial artist. He is a 7th dan black belt in aikido and began his adult life as a martial arts teacher in Japan. Soon Seagel moved to California to pursue the same profession for a broad audience.

By 1988 he set his foot in the acting industry and starred in the film Above the Law. Following the year, Seagel starred in four other successful films. Along with acting in cinema, Seidel also appeared in reality shows like Steven Seagal: Lawman. Besides a great career in acting and as a martial artist, Seagel holds citizenships of three countries.

Robert William Barker is famous by the name Bob Barker. He is best known for hosting the show The Price is Right from 1972 to 2007. The show eventually became the longest-running daytime game show in North America. Besides, Bob’s notable work also includes Truth or Consequences, which ran from 1956 to 75.

Wanda Jackson, Born in 1937- Right or Wrong

Wanda Jackson is a retired singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was a successful artist in the industry. In the mid-50s-60s, she gained massive popularity from the audience and was called Queen of Rockabilly or the First Lady of Rockabilly. Her main focus was country music which included many hit songs, “Right or Wrong”, and “A Woman Lives for Love,”. By 2009, Wanda was honored in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Early Influence.

Later she announced her retirement from performing in 2019. Wanda was involved in a romantic relationship with her manager, Wendell Goodman, having two children together. Before her husband’s death, she lived in Oklahoma City.

Jeri Ryan, Born in 1968 – Seven of Nine

Jeri Ryan is a famous actor best known for performing Borg Seven of Nine on the hit television series Star Trek. She appeared in the romantic comedy Down with Love and Men Cry Bullets. Philip, rose to prominence when he starred on the hit television show ‘Miami Vice’ alongside co-star, Don Johnson, from 1984 to 1990. Petula Clark, Born in 1932 – Sailor

Petula Clark is a British composer, singer, and actress. Her professional career started amidst the Second World War for BBC Radio as a child entertainer. The first UK hit of hers was The Little Shoemaker; she also began recording in French within the next two years. Later, at the age of 12, Petula was discovered by movie director Maurice Elvey. She was cast in his war drama Medal for the General.

From thereon, it was all upwards and onwards for Petula. She starred in several television shows and movies. Later in 1950, Clark launched her own afternoon show called Petula Clark. Pet’s Parlour.

William Daniels, Born in 1927- Boy Meets World

William Daniel is an American actor known for his role in St. Elsewhere. For that, he took home two Emmy Awards. Later his popularity increased with a role in the sitcom Boy Meets World which turned out to be a turning point in his career. He was president of the Screen Actor Guild from 1999 to 2001.

Initially, his career began as a member of the singing Daniels family in Brooklyn, and somehow William made his T.V. debut in 1943 Life With Father and the rest of the history is known. William is married to his long love Bonnie Bartlett, an actress and a recipient of the Emmy Award.

Lorenzo Lamas, Born In 1958 – Falcon Crest

Line Renaud, Born in 1928 – Paris Still Sings

Since 1945, French actress and singer, Line Renaud has been lighting up stages and screens across the world with her talent and voice, appearing on several television shows worldwide.

Line is still going strong and has also been dedicating a large part of her life to her other passion, AIDS activism, since 1985. She’s part of events like ‘Sidaction’ and vice-president of a trust, all of which helps collect and distribute funds for people who live with HIV, and we applaud her for helping to make the world a better place!

Bill Cobbs, Born in 1934 – The Hitter

Bill Cobbs didn’t start as an actor, and after doing a bunch of odd jobs and completing a stint as a radar technician in the ‘US Air Force,’ he headed to New York and started pursuing his dream of acting.

In 1974 he landed his debut film role and the rest, as they say, is history. Since then, Bill has appeared in several movies and television shows, his most recent being ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ which concluded in 2020. Bill is well on the way to his nineties, but it looks like his passion for acting is keeping him young at heart!

Talia Shire, Born in 1946 – The Godfather

American actress Talia Shire is best known for her roles in the ‘Rocky’ and ‘The Godfather’ films, and her performances earned her several accolades over her the span of her career, which started in 1968.

Talia’s love for acting hasn’t ceased, and even though she is now in her seventies, she is still going strong and can be seen gracing the silver screen in the 2020 film ‘Working Man.’ When she’s not acting, she spends her time with her dogs in her Bel-Air home listening to classical music. At 75, Sandie Shaw is still one of the most memorable and vocal icons of girl power. Sandie was at her peak during the 1960s and was also the first-ever British winner of the Eurovision Song Contest. Her song Puppet On A String topped the UK charts, making her the first British female artist to have three number-one albums.

Sandie got hitched to fashion designer Jeff Banks and established her own clothing line after an emotional rollercoaster ride. In 2007, Shaw had undergone corrective foot surgery, which didn’t let her walk for quite some time and eventually she retired in 2013. She keeps active these days as a songwriter.

Tommy Steele | Age 85

Sir Thomas Hicks, popularly known as Tommy Steele, is an English entertainer who is widely recognized as Britain’s first teen idol and rock and roll star. The Tommy Steele Story (1957) was a film adaptation of this 85 year old celeb’s rise to fame, with the soundtrack becoming the first British album to reach number one on the UK Albums Chart.

Steele was one of the biggest cultural icons chosen by pop artist Sir Peter Blake to appear in “Vintage Blake,” which was an iconic montage to commemorate Blake’s 80th birthday. All these achievements established him as a star with a long and successful film and stage professional career.

Leslie Phillips | Age 97

Leslie Phillips, a well-known comic actor who excels in playing plump, quintessentially English stereotypes, has always had a lifelong passion for acting. Leslie, 97, took acting lessons as a child to get rid of his natural cockney accent. Phillips went on to play dramatic roles in his later career, including providing the voice of the Sorting Hat in the iconic Harry Potter films.

Linda Kozlowski | Age 64

Linda Kozlowski, a Juilliard graduate with Broadway play experience, found the silver screen success in Australia’s billabongs with co-star Paul Hogan. During the production of the first two films, her on-screen romance with Crocodile Dundee evolved into a serious relationship. Soon, Linda got hitched to Paul and eventually gave birth to their child, Chance.

Gloria Hendry | Age 73

Gloria Hendry is a famous American former Playboy supermodel who debuted in the 1968 Sidney Poitier film For Love of Ivy. Following the success of the iconic Live And Let Die, the talented Hendry landed several roles in films and television in the 1970s. Her many notable works included Hell Up in Harlem, a Fred Williamson drama, and Gloria took the lead in Savage Sisters (1974), playing Lynn Jackson.
