Before that, she worked in a post office and prepared to pass the Civil Service exams. During that period, Knox took part in theatre, which eventually led her to become a great actress. Also, she appeared in T.V. shows like Feel the Width, George and the Dragon, and A Family at War.

Petula Clark, Born in 1932 – Sailor
Petula Clark is a British composer, singer, and actress. Her professional career started amidst the Second World War for BBC Radio as a child entertainer. The first UK hit of hers was The Little Shoemaker; she also began recording in French within the next two years. Later, at the age of 12, Petula was discovered by movie director Maurice Elvey. She was cast in his war drama Medal for the General.

From thereon, it was all upwards and onwards for Petula. She starred in several television shows and movies. Later in 1950, Clark launched her own afternoon show called Petula Clark. Pet’s Parlour.

She is an English model, actress, and singer, considered beautiful with big eyes, long eyelashes, and short hair despite having an androgynous appearance. In 1966 Twiggy was named “The Face of 1966” by Daily Express, and following the same year, she was voted as British Woman of the Year.

Later in 1967, Twiggy was a successful model in France, Japan, and the U.S.A. for Vogue and The Tatler’s covers. Also, by 1971, her performance in Boy Friend, she took home two Golden Globe Awards. Currently, Twiggy and her husband, Leigh Lawson, reside in London.

American actress and producer, Rebecca De Mornay’s career was always going to be successful. Still, it rose to prominence after her breakthrough role in the ’80s film ‘Risky Business’ alongside now superstar, Tom Cruise.

She even starred in a music video for the soft rock band ‘Starship!’ Now, she’s still expanding her already impressive resume in her sixties. Tina Lousie began her career on stage in the 50s before she started acting in films. She is best known for her role in the sitcom Gilligan’s Island. Although Tina got her breakthrough from God’s Little Acre, she took home a Golden Globe Award for a New Star of the Year.

Further, Tina has worked in other notable films The Trap, The Hangman, The Happy Ending, and The Stepford Wives. Tina became the last surviving cast member of Gilligan’s Island after the death of Dawn Wells. Apart from a career in acting, she was a well-known singer as well. Tina made one record album, It’s Time For Tina.

Do you wonder what happened to Max Baer Jr., the handsome young man who played the part of dim-witted Jethro Bodine on ‘The Beverly Hillbillies?’ Well, since the man’s breakthrough show, he appeared on other TV programs like ‘Love, American Style’ and ‘Vacation Playhouse.’

He then devoted his life to various philanthropic activities in the industry, helping ardent artists to pursue their dreams! Now, that is a gentleman who loved the arts and wasn’t afraid to show it. And we are ever so lucky as Max still walks the face of the earth in his eighties, and we hope we could say the same in 10 years!
