The star is a top figure in the acting world, with his key performances being those in Training Day and Glory. The star director, actor, and producer is a proud recipient of two Oscar Awards – and holds the record for being the first African-American to have landed two of these prestigious awards.
Washington won a Tony Award and two Academy Awards, both for each of the films mentioned above. He’s a talented man with a way with the ladies, making them swoon wherever he goes! Magic Johnson has retired, but there’s no way his fans forget his peak years anytime soon! The former basketball player, who also happens to be a former president of Los Angeles Lakers’ basketball operations, played for the team for a whopping 13 seasons. Over his time as a star athlete, he accumulated big money, adding up to $500 million to his name today.
Johnson was only 20 years old when he was named MVP for the NBA finals as just a rookie player at the time – he was thus the youngest to have earned the title. He is also a spokesperson and entrepreneur and is the co-owner of Los Angeles Dodgers. He is an activist as well and campaigns for those who have HIV/AIDS. Johnson’s fans love him and are loyal to him even though he has long left the court!

The iconic Tina Turner first found prominence with the group Ike & Tina Turner Revue, but when she launched her solo career, she indeed became a star in her own right. Turner is currently in her late seventies and has many years’ worth of experiences in life to share! Turner grew up a rather difficult life, being separated from her parents to serve a defense facility. Turner was 6 when she first laid eyes on Ike Turner at a nightclub one night.
By 1962, Tina and Ike Turner walked down the aisle together. However, it simply wasn’t meant to last as by 1978 they were single again! The most significant hit the couple made together was Proud Mary. Tina didn’t find success with her first four solo albums, but by 1984 she released Private Dancer, and she was on a roll!
