Misty Copeland says that she couldn’t have imagined making a career out of something she enjoyed doing so much. The dancer says that performing ballet gives her a passionate voice even when she is silent.

When Under Armour signed the ballerina in 2014, it was a big deal for both sides: Ballerinas usually don’t get big flashy endorsement deals, but most of them are not as socially active as Misty. Copeland dances for the American Ballet Theater, and she is also their first African-American soloist. She is hip, she is fierce, and she is all about diversity!
